Infiniti Confirms Limited Production Run of FX Sebastian Vettel Edition


With Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel having clinched the second consecutive drivers' championship crown after the results of the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday, it was only a matter time before Infiniti would confirm what we already suspected after the debut of the FX concept in Frankfurt: the crossover that bears his name will enter a limited run production.

The announcement was made by Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer at an interview for the company's corporate blog.

Mitsubishi to Sell Rebadged Infiniti M as its New Flagship Sedan in Japan


Mitsubishi may have a wide range of vehicles, but it lacks a flagship model since it stopped production of the Diamante back in 2005. However, that will change soon.

Today, the troubled automaker announced that, as a part of cooperation agreement signed with the Nissan Group in December 2010, it begin selling a rebadged Fuga, which in the rest of the world is known as the Infiniti M, from next summer.

Infiniti M35h sets Guinness World Record for Fastest Accelerating Full Hybrid, Lamborghini Countach Owners Beware


On August 23, the new Infiniti M35h sped into the Guinness Book of Records as the world's fastest accelerating full hybrid model.

The record-breaking feat took place at UK’s Santa Pod drag strip, with the 364HP luxury sedan, driven by CAR magazine journalist Tim Pollard, setting an average 0-400 m (quarter-mile) time of 13.9031 seconds and a passing speed of over 160 km/h (100 mph).

Infiniti is relying on its partnership with Red Bull Racing and the blessings of reigning Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel to promote a sportier image for the brand

At this week's 64 International Auto Show in Frankfurt, the Japanese automaker put the spotlight on a one-off Infiniti FX50 designed in conjunction with Vettel. The special crossover features a host of aerodynamic, styling and mechanical improvements, all designed with Vettel's input.

Infiniti Outlines New Pure-Electric Sedan Model, will go on Sale in 2014


The 64th International Auto Show in Frankfurt isn't only about uncovering the latest concept models and production cars but also about announcing future plans.

Infiniti on its behalf used the motorshow to release a new teaser sketch of its first pure electric model that will arrive in global markets in 2014.

IAA 2011: Sebastian Vettel's 420HP, 300km/h One-Off Infiniti FX50 Special


After many teasers but only six months since the idea surfaced during a conversation between Infiniti’s Chief Creative Officer, Shiro Nakamura, and Red Bull racing driver Sebastian Vettel, the Japanese firm's one-off FX50 Performance Concept dedicated to the reigning Formula One World Champion has been fully revealed.

Sebastian Vettel, who already owns an FX as Infiniti's Global Brand Ambassador [sic...], cooperated with the company's engineers to create the concept model that sports several changes over the standard production version both mechanically and cosmetically.

Infiniti Launches $5,080 Wrist Watch Made by Bell & Ross


Following in the footsteps of other luxury carmakers, Infiniti offers buyers a line of premium accessories. Now, after last year's launch of the special edition BR03-92 Instrument Phantom wristwatch made to commemorate the arrival of the FX Limited Edition performance crossover, Infiniti has announced a second model, engineered once again by Bell & Ross.

The American watch company headed by Swiss designers Bruno Belamich and Carlos A. Rosillo, came up with an exclusive timepiece named the BR02-8 Infiniti Carbon Case Purple 8 Pro Dial series.

2008 ?issan Skyline � 12th Generation

Ok, it may not be the Skyline that we�ve all been waiting for �the GT-R is due next year, but nevertheless, important, as Nissan�s mid-size sedan has its own fanatic audience in the Japanese market. So, what�s new here? Well, just about everything as according to Nissan, the 12th generation Skyline, features all-new exterior and interior designs, a next generation FR-L platform and a newly developed VQ35HR V6 engine. Dimension wise, overall height is 20mm lower and overall width is 20mm wider than its V35 predecessor.


The Skyline is powered by the newly developed VQ35HR and VQ25HR V6 engines. The 3.5L version generates 315 horsepowers and 36.5kgm of torque and is capable of revving up to 7500rpm, while the 2.5L generates 225 horsepowers and 26.8 kgm of torque. The powerplant is matched to a 5speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift. A new DS mode allows for more spirited driving by optimizing gear selection for various driving conditions.


Also, unique to the Skyline is as what Nissan refers to as, the world�s first four-wheel active steering system, which adjusts the steering angles of the front and rear wheels in accordance with driving speeds and steering operation, allowing for greater control at low and medium speeds, and smooth effortless cruising at higher speeds. It is optional on SP and S series.Finally, the new Skyline is equipped with larger 18" (sports models) and 17" (standard models) alloys. In the sport models, it is equipped with different sized front (225/50R) and rear (245/45R) tires.
